Clay Komondor: view 1 by Avocet21 Clay Komondor: view 1 by Avocet21
This is a model of a Komondor I made out of polymer clay several years ago. Suffice it to say I'm not sure I will ever do one again due to the amount of time and effort it took. I might, though, since I'm not really satisfied with how the head turned out...

Thank you! And I have to say, I greatly admire your work as well. The texturing you do for the fur is wonderful.

Incredibly awesome :) I can only imagine how time consuming it was to get this guy to look so clean and consistent, but it turned out great! If you were planning to mess with the head, i'd probably say lengthen the snout a bit just so it doesnt look like on flat surface in front.
Fun stuff!

Thank you so much! Yeah, it did take a while since I made each cord individually then applied them. As for the head, I really should have made the cords longer, perhaps used fewer overall, and just paid better attention to what Kom heads look like in real life. And yeah, making the muzzle a bit longer would likely have helped as well... :)
